Novus Hearing takes our responsibility to support our customers very seriously and are committed to our patients obtaining the maximum benefit from their hearing devices. Should you have any difficulty with the hearing aids you have purchased during this quarantine period we will do out best to assist you. 

For patients with Resound or Phonak hearing aids we can offer remote support through your mobile phone if you need a change to any settings within the hearing aid. Where the problem is more mechanical you may be able to resolve this yourself with the troubleshooting guide below. Troubleshooting Receiver in Canal Hearing Aids

Take silicone tip off and clean any wax
Check wax guard at end of receiver and change if necessary
Change the battery, even if you have just put a new one in
Brush the microphone ports to clear them out
If it still is not working please call us for further advice

Troubleshooting Behind the Ear Hearing Aids

Check the tubing for any blockage
If the tubing is blocked, take it off the hearing aid and use a pipe cleaner to push the blockage out
Brush the microphone ports to clear them out
Change the battery even if you have just put in a new one
If all else fails, you will have to make a trip to your professional
